About Us.

Our Vision

A Faith-Filled Community Overflowing With Love from God to One Another

We desire to be:

• A community marked by the assurance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).

• A community devoted to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer (Acts 2:42).

• A community that unselfishly love and seek the best for one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves others is born of God and knows God through personal experience (1 John 4:7).

• A community increasing, excelling and overflowing in love for one another, and for all people (1 Thessalonians 3:12).

Our Mission

Experience Jesus. Find Hope Together.

As we move towards our vision, we live out our mission:

• For everyone to experience a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead (1 Peter 1:3).

• For our hearts to be flooded with light so that we can understand the confident hope and incredible greatness of God’s power (Ephesians 1:18-23).

• For everyone to spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, but encouraging one another (Hebrews 10:24-25).

Core Values

Our Core Vales are part of everything we do.

LOVE WITHOUT CONDITION

We are committed to loving people as they are without expecting anything in return (1 Corinthians 13:1–13) just as Jesus commanded (John 13:34-35). To truly love is to know God because God is love (1 John 4:7) and believe that Jesus is the Christ (1 John 5:1) and receive the Spirit that he gave us (1 John 3:24, 4:13).

Spirit of Generosity

We are committed to excelling in the grace of giving (2 Corinthians 8:7). Generosity is our response as receivers of God’s gift of grace and power. Being created in the image of a God who gave and continues to give abundantly, we desire to share in His eternal self-giving nature and partner with Him to share it with all of creation.

SENSE OF BELONGING

We are many parts of Christ’s body, and we all belong to each other (Romans 12:4-5). God intends for us to know, serve, enjoy, and become like Him as a part of Christ’s body (1 Corinthians 12:27). We are committed to learning, spending time, sharing meals and worshiping together as a body of believers (Acts 2:42)

CULTURE OF DISCIPLESHIP

We are committed to being discipled as we disciple others. We are all called to let the word of Christ dwell in us richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another (Colossians 3:16). We want to be like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season, our leaves never wither, and we prosper in all we do (Psalm 1:2-3).

Statement of Beliefs

What we believe.

WE BELIEVE that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our every day lives.

WE BELIEVE in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.

WE BELIEVE that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.

WE BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.

WE BELIEVE that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.

WE BELIEVE that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues which is the initial evidence of baptism in the Holy Spirit.

WE BELIEVE that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfil our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.

WE BELIEVE that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and prosperous lives in order to help others more effectively.

WE BELIEVE that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.

WE BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
